This is just too much to be believed. (Gee, I think EVERY statement about the Bush admin should start with that phrase.)

Sir Lie-A-Lot's press secretary recently sent out a memo to the USDA (yes, dept of agriculture) saying that they had to include "everything is OK in Iraq" phrases in every speech they prepare.

"Several topics I'd like to talk about today - Farm Bill, trade with Japan, WTO, avian flu ... but before I do, let me touch on a subject people always ask about ... progress in Iraq."
